| Description: | The FLONA Caxiuanã is an undisturbed and protected national rainforest near the mouth of the Amazon River in the state of Pará, near Almeirim. It is located some 350 km west of Belém on the Pará River and just east of the Xingu River. The 33,000 ha ecological station lies within this larger national forest (200,000 ha).
